Yo, Ho! Let’s Go! It’s the pirates’ life for us! We will read about pirates, dress like pirates, hunt for buried treasure, and make lots of pirate crafts! You will dive for treasure while swimming in Lake Highland’s “clear, blue sea.” We will swim in the LHP pool each day and we will even make model pirate ships to sail! This class is designed for the girl who enjoys American Girl dolls, crafts, books, movies, and magazines! We will enjoy creating items inspired by the dolls and their stories. Quality basketball instruction stressing fundamentals, techniques, philosophy, strategy, and intensive skill development will be the focus each week. Splash on in and join us for a week of learning fun facts about mermaids. We will read mermaid books and make crafty mermaid projects! We will swim in the LHP Ocean, located at our own Highlander Aquatics pool, and dive for pearls. Got Spirit? If so, then this is the camp for you! Spend time with LHP cheerleaders as we cheer, jump, dance, tumble, and stunt. Throughout the week, teams of similar age girls work on developing a cheerleading routine to present in a show for families and friends on Friday! Every day also includes games, crafts, and swimming. It has been said that a bad day of fishing beats a good day at work! Come and learn to bait a hook and cast a line in our very own Lake Highland as well as other local lakes within walking distance. Football Camp- Boys (Grades 2-6)
This football camp offers an experience designed to teach players the fundamentals and techniques of football. The techniques apply to the individual player as well as the total game. Game Design and Roller Coaster Science (Grades 2-4)
The camp day is divided into two topics: Game Design & Roller Coaster Science. In the Game Design potion of camp, campers learn the basics of video game development and design games by hand with Bloxels and tablets.
