Course #S1009300, 0.5 credit
June 12 - July 3 (Class will officially open June 12th; however students may access materials and begin working starting June 1st.)
Are you an independent learner? Can you successfully meet deadlines? If you answered in the affirmative, then the LHPS online composition course could be a good choice for you. While the “live” course should be your first choice, if your schedule does not permit attendance at these sessions, the online option might be your answer! This course is five weeks in duration, June 6th - July 3rd. Work may be submitted early after the close of the current school year.
Here is how it works: A preliminary meeting will be held during Fling near the end of the school year, so listen to the announcements for the date. At this time, we will walk you through the online process including expectations, dates, and the submission procedures. All assignments and final test must be submitted according to the agreed-upon course timetable or your enrollment will be dropped. Part of the curriculum for this course is learning to meet deadlines! All work must be finished by the end of the course, July 3rd. Prerequisite: Students enrolling in this course should be capable of independent work, consistent in meeting deadlines, and have reliable access to the Internet.
