*Preparations by our administration, faculty, staff, and students are well underway as we look forward to our 21st Annual Veterans Salute this fall. This celebration entitled “FREEDOM” is Friday, November 9. The program will include beloved and inspiring patriotic songs, a variety of LHP talent, and an entertaining “canteen” reception in the Johnny Holloway Blackbox Theatre.  The salute affords all of us the opportunity to honor and remember our U.S. veterans. It also facilitates a greater understanding and thanksgiving for the freedoms we enjoy as a result of their endeavors, sacrifice, and courageous dedication.   You and your family are invited to this enlightening salute.  You will not want to miss it so invite your family members and mark your calendar – Friday, November 9, 8:45 am, 10:45 am, or 1:00 pm in the Harriett Coleman Center for the Arts on our main campus.

Additionally new this year, LHPS President, Vice Admiral Alfred G. Harms Jr., USN (Ret.), invites all veterans to join him for a special reception a half-hour before each show to recognize their service to our country. If you have a family member who is a veteran, please invite them and let us honor them at the show and at this amazing reception.
