This year for 7th grade we went on a trip called Great Florida Adventure. We started off by doing a ropes course, airboat ride, and went to Circle F Dude Ranch, but one of the adventures that happened to be my favorite day was the Canyons zip lining. The zip lining was through a rock quarry aka canyons and trees. The water on the bottom definitely was one of my favorite parts.
The Canyons Zip-lining course was fantastic, the views were amazing, and the tour guide was so funny. We were zipping through these trees and below the trees were the beautiful canyons. The canyons are actually a rock quarry formed years ago. On a few of the zips, alligators can be seen when going over the water. While ziplining you could feel the wind and breeze in your hair and relaxation sets in.
This experience taught me more about nature and habitats. This whole trip taught me a whole different perspective on things that are made, like the canyons and how animals can just adapt in. Nature is not all trees and grass, it is beautiful things like this that make me wonder. I will never forget this place. This was a true adventure.
