We are deeply grateful for the philanthropic support of parents, grandparents, alumni, employees, and friends. Your generous gifts provide resources that help transform our great school into an even better one.
Lake Highland’s finances are strong; tuition revenue funds our core operations. But we are committed to offering even more, and your gifts allow us to enhance programs, facilities, and technology, resulting in extraordinary educational opportunities for every Highlander student.
The Highlander Relief Fund
The Highlander Relief Fund was established to help meet the needs of Lake Highland families suffering financial hardship during the COVID-19 crisis. Donations to this fund will increase our financial aid budget, allowing us to provide critical tuition assistance and related support (aid for books and other costs) to qualified families during this extraordinary time of need. Learn more about the Highlander Relief Fund.
The Highlander Fund
The Highlander Fund is our central fundraising effort. Annual gifts to the Highlander Fund impact every area of the school, providing vital resources for academic programs, technology, campus security, arts, athletics, and more. Gifts may be unrestricted – thereby supporting the school’s greatest needs and highest priorities – or donors may choose to designate their contributions to a specific area of interest, such as arts, athletics, or leadership development programs.
We are proud of our beautiful campus and state-of-the-art facilities, made possible by capital gifts from generous donors. Lake Highland leads campaigns for capital (building) projects as needs for them arise. Donors have generously given more than $20 million for several important campus facilities, including the Harriett Coleman Center for the Arts, Meffe Family Field House, Hudson House, a new baseball field, the renovated Weng Family Gymnasium, and new turf for our main athletic field.
Donors may contribute to any of Lake Highland’s endowments, which function as the school’s savings account and provide sustaining resources for the long term financial stability of LHPS and its mission. To learn more about our endowments, click here.
