Lake Highland is strongly committed to inspiring patriotism in every Highlander. We believe that it is critically important to transmit this value from generation to generation.
Our core message comes from our belief that Americans are incredibly fortunate to live in the freest and most prosperous country in the history of the world. It is important that all citizens recognize that our many freedoms, individual liberties, and free enterprise system did not happen by accident.
Veterans, we salute you!
One of the most widely celebrated and recognized traditions on our campus is our annual Veterans Day tribute. Welcoming more than 1,000 visitors to campus, 400+ students and faculty members rehearse for months to honor Veterans from across Central Florida with a moving program.
Celebrating Freedom
The accomplishments of our nation’s Veterans are legendary. The results of their collective efforts are unprecedented in the history of the world. Their selfless service, untold sacrifices, years of hard work, and steadfast commitment to protecting America’s freedoms resulted in the protection and enrichment of the world’s greatest nation. We owe them a debt of gratitude that cannot ever be repaid.
