Nurturing Compassionate Leaders
Our student body comprises many different faiths, and we welcome families of all religions to Lake Highland Preparatory School. At LHP, we teach nine tenets of Christianity, which we believe are widely accepted values by people of many faiths. They are love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. In Galatians 5:22-23, Paul refers to these attributes as the Fruit of the Spirit.
Fruit of the Spirit
To create a culture where students respect and understand different religions, our teachers and staff strive to personify the nine attributes of the Fruit of the Spirit. When we see students display these attributes through their actions, we award them with a special button. Wearing this button shows their fellow students that they have internalized the respect, care, and consideration that our school holds dear.
