Our student body comprises many different faiths, and we welcome families of all religions to Lake Highland Preparatory School.

At LHPS, we teach nine tenets of Christianity, which we believe are widely accepted values by people of many faiths. They are love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. In Galatians 5:22-23, Paul refers to these attributes as the Fruit of the Spirit.

To create a culture where students respect and understand different religions, our teachers and staff strive to personify the nine attributes of the Fruit of the Spirit. When we see students display these attributes through their actions, we recognize them and award them with a special button, so they may tell others about their action. Weaving the Fruit of the Spirit into our culture helps us cultivate our students’ character and develop them as compassionate, empathetic, and courageous leaders.

Bible Verse of the Year (2023-2024)

“Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others.”
