Black History Month

February marks Black History Month, a tribute to the men and women of the African diaspora who have made significant contributions to America and the rest of the world in the areas of science, politics, law, sports, the arts, entertainment, and many other fields.

Each week school is in session during February, we will recognize five important figures in the African diaspora.
