A 1,200-seat outdoor, open-air athletic field, the CNL Stadium is home to the Highlander football, boys and girls soccer, and boys and girls lacrosse teams. This state-of-the-art artificial turf field has sewn-in game lines and is equipped with a scoreboard and video board. The adjacent Yergey Snack Shack offers refreshments to supporters and visitors during games.
Varsity Football
The Highlander football program is focused on building leaders who are able to compete in the classroom and on the field. We relentlessly pursue excellence daily and believe that the process is more valuable than the result.
Program Overview
Our young men are willing to work hard, whether through off-season workouts in January, preparing for exams in November, practices in August, or under the Friday night lights in the fall. Lake Highland football is about excellence in all endeavors and building selfless, tough, and resilient student-athletes who reject passivity, lead courageously under adverse conditions, and humbly serve others.
We believe in putting our brothers before ourselves—sacrificing personal comfort for the team's good—and pushing each other to compete beyond our perceived potential. This mindset and attitude are rooted in our LHP mission statement and enduring leadership principles. We love the sport, yet we truly believe it is a means to a greater purpose—developing strong leaders.
