Philosophy
Lake Highland’s varsity tennis program centers on honing specific skills and strokes while developing strong character, leadership, and independent thinking in each individual. Teamwork, respect, and representation are the core values at this level. Our goal is for these important life lessons to carry over to decades of enjoyment while playing this wonderful game.
Success
Both boys and girls varsity tennis programs participate in Class 2A, Region 4, District 7 of the Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA) and routinely participate in the best competitions from around the state. The program advanced to the Region Finals in 2021 and had individual and doubles qualifiers in the State Tournament. In 2022, the program earned a District Championship and advanced to the Region Finals while having an individual and doubles qualifier for the State Tournament.
