Varsity Cross Country Boys
Program Overview
Philosophy
Our team values the communal aspect of the sport. We have built our program by developing a great tradition of hard work, selflessness, and pride that is passed down from one generation of Highlanders to the next. With runners of all ability levels, we work to take each individual on a journey of physical and mental growth while encouraging others on their journeys and building lifelong relationships.
Success
Consisting of 30+ runners annually our team prides itself on being competitive across the state at both the Varsity and JV levels. Our Varsity team has finished as a Top 10 team of the State Meet in nine of the last ten years including a District Championship, Regional Championship, and 3rd Place State finish in 2018. Our JV team consistently ranks as one of the best teams across the state regardless of classification. Our runners are well-rounded student-athletes who have been Valedictorians, Grand Marshals, Class Presidents, School Chaplains, and recipients of very selective school awards for community service, character, and school spirit.
