Varsity Competitive Cheer
Program Overview
Philosophy
The purpose of Lake Highland Cheerleading is to support our school’s athletic programs, promote and uphold school spirit, develop sportsmanship among students, build relationships between schools during athletic events, and provide competitive, affirming experiences. Our coaching staff prioritizes academics and challenges LHPS student-athletes to achieve their highest potential in school, sports, and all other aspects of their lives. Lessons learned from athletic participation are invaluable and help in the overall development of an individual. Sportsmanship, teamwork, competition, and how to win and lose gracefully are integral parts of each team in our athletic and Cheerleading programs. Go Big Red!
