Our Philosophy
Guided by our mission, Lake Highland Preparatory School Athletics provides opportunities for students to hone their athletic abilities while developing important, transferable life skills, including teamwork, sportsmanship, leadership, and perseverance.

Programs
Led by world-class coaches, our interscholastic athletics program provides opportunities on 61 teams across 18 sports for students in grades 6-12. Our Varsity programs have won over 135 individual and team State Championships since the school’s inception in 1970.

3-time winner of the FHSAA Girls All-Sports Champions Award

Our Middle School athletic program offers instruction for development of student-athletes and provides a range of choices for sixth, seventh, and eighth graders – opportunities that are not provided in most schools today. Middle School students participate on 17 teams across 10 sports.
Prepared for Collegiate Competition
In recent years, approximately 10% of Highlander seniors are competitively recruited by colleges to play at the next level. This year, we celebrate students who have signed with the following collegiate teams to play sports as they continue their education at selective universities throughout the nation.
