   our HOME game. Admission will be charged. Booster passes and student/employee

   ID’s are not valid at this game.

Homecoming tickets will be on sale during lunches all this week for Upper School students.

 

Attention juniors and seniors:  Representatives from the following schools will be on campus the week of September 8thValencia, Davidson, Vanderbilt, Providence and Rollins. If you are interested in any of these schools and wish to attend these information sessions, please remember you must have a pass signed by your teacher.

 

LHPS Arts League invites you to join us at PARENTS' ARTS NIGHT - rescheduled date is Tuesday, September 9, 2008,

6:30 - 9:30 pm at the home of Barry & Becky Watson, 429 Shady Lane Dr.  Please come to meet and speak with the LHPS Arts Faculty and parents, preview 2008-2009 Arts Events and hear about what is to come at the new Harriett Coleman Center for the Arts!  RSVP and/or questions to Colleen Edwards - colleende@aol.com

 

Invitations have been mailed for the Middle School Mom’s Night Out scheduled for Wednesday, September 10, beginning at 6:45 pm at Bella in Winter Park.  We’ll have a wonderful evening of shopping, socializing, cocktails and fashion (look for model Sandy Hevner at the event) planned. This new event is free of charge, with 10% of all sales from the evening going back to LHPS.  Everyone will receive a door prize. Please RSVP to lhpa@lhps.org, or 407-206-1900 ext. 5772.

 

ATTENTION 4th, 5th, & 6th Graders:  Auditions are coming soon for this year’s musical, The King and I, which will be performed on the main stage of the Harriett Coleman Center for the Arts on January 30 thru February 1st, 2009.  This Rodgers & Hammerstein musical is based on the book Anna and the King of Siam, and was popularized by the movie.  Auditions are September 15th - 17th.  Look for the audition flyer, coming soon in your Homerooms! 

Homecoming BBQ Tickets on sale now: Join us Friday, September 19 from 5-7 pm in the LHPS Cafeteria prior to the game. Dinner will be served by Sonny’s BBQ.  Adult dinners are $10 and dinners for children 4th grade and under will be $5. Ticket sales end September 17.  No sales at the door. Guitar Lessons: Learn to play all styles of guitar ranging from classical to rock, blues, jazz and more.
