Summer Math
A math spiral providing appropriate practice and problem solving activities has been sent home with children in grades one through six. Designed specifically for summer, students are able to spend short, but regular times throughout vacation and complete the questions. Pages can be completed in any order; flash cards and help pages can be found in the spirals along with a complete answer key. Either the child or parent should check answers for accuracy by this summer.
The completion of the reading and math assignments is required of all students. Reading and math assignments will be collected during the first week of school and students will be given a completion grade. We encourage you to talk to your child about these activities and together set a schedule that will ensure timely completion within the parameters of your family’s summer plans.
Additional math activities and games can be found below. Although highly recommended, these math activities and games are optional.
