SERVICE LEADERSHIP CLASS

Purpose of Class: This class exists for the sole purpose of helping others. There are 3 things we expect to do in this class:

1. Educate: The classroom component, where we explore leadership styles, ethics and values, and participate in various team building and self-discovery activities.
2. Expose: Students will be introduced to a variety of areas of service, including mentoring, tutoring, and serving community needs.
3. Express: While we hope serving will be a life long journey, through out the class, students will journal their weekly experiences. Additionally, a service project is required.
