Abbott & Fenner Scholarship Program

Abbott & Fenner Business Consultants are pleased to be able to continue with our scholarship program for the 5th year awarding up to $1,000 to the winner each year. AES Engineers Scholarships

The consulting firm of AES Engineers is committed to continuing its support of higher education by providing scholarships to deserving students.  Our belief if that achieving a high grade point average should not be the only criteria for determining who deserves to be helped.  For that reason we are offering a scholarship that will be awarded on the basis of character, as determined by evaluating the essays that are submitted.  To be eligible the student needs to answer one of the essay questions that they will find on our website.  Further information, including previous winners, is also available on our website.

 

AMDA College and Conservatory of the Performing Arts-National Audition Tour for Admission and Scholarships

ADMA will hold auditions in over 60 cities throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico and the United Kingdom for our professional Bachelor of Fine Arts Degrees and Conservatory Programs in New York City and Los Angeles.  Las year over $1,500,000 was awarded to scholarship recipients.

 

Babson College – Weissman Scholarship Program

Best Buy Scholarships

Bright House Network-David Logan Scholarship

Amount:  $2500

The David Logan Scholarship is awarded each year to four high school seniors who excel in athletics and academics.  The scholarship is granted in memory of David Logan, former NFL player and sportscaster.  David was an anchor on “Sports Connection” on Bay News 9.  Winner must be willing to be interviewed and appear on Bright House Sports Network.

 

BK Scholars

Buick Achievers Scholarship Program

Case Western Reserve – Performing Arts Scholarships

More than $2.5 million in performing arts scholarships awarded.  Full tuition awards for majors in dance, music and theatre and $10,000 awards for non-majors in dance, music, theater and art studio. These awards are available to first-year students starting fall 2012. Audition or portfolio submission required. 

 

Davidson Fellows Scholarships

Amount:  $50,000, $25,000, and $10,000 scholarships

The Davidson Fellows are success stories.  They’re students who have resourcefully found ways to nurture their genius by seeking out mentors, relying on strong family support and working diligently to achieve their goals.  More than $4 million has been awarded to 184 brilliant young people through the Davidson Fellows Scholarships.  Could you be next?

 

University of Dayton Scholarship

Amount:  1st place $40,000 ($10,000 for 4 years), 2nd place $6,000, 3rd place $4,000.

At the University of Dayton, we believe in using our knowledge and resources to serve others.  In, fact servant leadership is so important that your thoughts on the topic could result in a substantial scholarship.  The idea is that the student will create a video that describes what servant leadership means to them.  They will then share the video through Facebook, Twitter, email or word of mouth to drum up votes. The 10 videos with the most votes will be reviewed by a team of University faculty, students and staff who will select the winners.

 

Duke University and UNC at Chapel Hill-The Robertson Scholars Leadership Program

The Robertson Scholars are high potential students from all backgrounds and have diverse academic interests and passions.  They are all extraordinary young leaders who have the confidence to embrace our accelerated leadership program and seek an impactful trajectory for their lives.  As a Robertson Scholar, you will develop your leadership skills through access to personal coaching, tailored programs, engagement with the community of scholars, and three fully-funded domestic and international summer experiences.  It can be a life-changing experience that engages the resources of both Duke and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

 

Fairmont State University

FSU prides itself on offering a wide variety of high quality academic programs at an affordable cost.  The Out-of-State Neighbors Scholarship gives high achieving students, like you, the opportunity to reduce your tuition cost even more.  Scholarship recipients receive $1,500 per year applied to tuition and fees.  The scholarship is renewable for three years for those who maintain at least a 3.0 cumulative college GPA.  Scholarship funds are limited, so apply today.

Florida State University-Service Scholar Program

Amount:  $2,400 per year for up to 4 years.

The Service Scholar Program recognizes select incoming students with an outstanding record of community service and leadership, and who want to continue that commitment at FSU.  The program benefits include exposure to a diverse group of individuals and social issues, an academic component, and support by an assigned faculty mentor.

 

GE-Reagan Foundation Scholarship Program

Deadline: February 17, 2012

This national program awards college scholarships to high school seniors who embody the characteristics of President Ronald Reagan at school, in the community, in the workplace, and at home.

 

Ithaca College – Martin Luther King Jr. Scholar Program

Johnson Scholarship Foundation

The Johnson Scholarship foundation is pleased to offer these scholarship programs for Florida students.  The scholarship will be awarded to two different groups of students who attend colleges in Florida starting Fall 2012.  #1.To the children of UPS employees or retirees who live in Florida, questions should be directed to Scholarship Management Services @ 507-931-1682.  #2.To students with disabilities who attend/will attend one of the eleven State universities, questions should be directed to the appropriate university campus contact.

 

University of Miami – George W. Jenkins Scholarship

Amount: valued at more than $50,000 annually, this four year scholarship is awarded to students based on academic merit, financial need and an essay that demonstrates a personal history of overcoming adversity. Minimum weighted GPA of 3.75 on a 4.0 scale. Applicant must apply to the University of Miami.

 

University of Michigan – The Geisinger Scholarship Program

The scholarship program will provide $20,000 in annual support to students from select geographical areas and will be awarded to first-year students admitted to the College of Engineering at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor for the 2012-2013 academic year.

 

Southern Methodist University/ The Hunt Leadership Scholarship Program

As a Hunt Leadership Scholar you will have unusual opportunities to learn from leaders.  You will meet with Mr. and Mrs. Hunt, as well as, SMU’s President, R. Gerald Turner.  In addition, you will have wide access to the Tate Lectures Series, one of the premiere public lecture series in the country.  In the past, Scholars have attended, and sometimes ushered at, Tate lectures featuring Mikhail Gorbachev, Tom Brokaw, Norman Schwarzkopf, and George Bush, among others. 

 

Stetson University – J. Ollie Edmunds Distinguished Scholarship
