Congratulations to 22 seniors who have qualified for the National Merit Scholarship Corporation Program. These students represent 11% of the LHPS Class of 2012 and they are among the top five percent of high school seniors throughout the nation. This is an honor acknowledged by corporations, colleges and universities worldwide. We are proud of the high level of intellectual dedication shown by each of these hard working students.
Five of these students have advanced in the NMSC program competition and have been named Semifinalists.
The nationwide pool of Semifinalists represents less than 1% of U.S. high school seniors!
