One of Lake Highland Preparatory School’s greatest assets is the time and devotion of our parents and friends of the school. Their countless volunteer hours and enthusiastic fund-raising efforts continue to make a significant difference to the school and benefit each student.
Numerous volunteer opportunities exist for current parents, past parents, alumni, and friends of the school.
Lake Highland Parent Association
The Lake Highland Parent Association is a support organization for the school, its students and its faculty. The purpose of the LHPA is to provide programs, activities and fundraising events that benefit the Lake Highland community. All parents of Lake Highland students are members of the LHPA and are encouraged to take an active role by giving their time and resources to the school.
The LHPS Arts League is a parent volunteer organization created to provide volunteer support and financial assistance for the Arts at Lake Highland.
The Lake Highland Booster Club provides financial and volunteer assistance to the Athletic Department for the benefit of the student body of Lake Highland Preparatory School.
Board of Visitors
Members of the Board of Visitors serve as advisors and supporters for Lake Highland Preparatory School. They are nominated by the administration and approved by the Board of Trustees for a three year term. Fifty-five members serve on the Board of Visitors and they represent a cross-section of current parents, alumni parents, grandparents, and alumni.

Since its founding in 1970, Lake Highland Preparatory School has been governed by the Board of Trustees. The 22 current members are men and women who provide support, vision, and leadership for Lake Highland Preparatory School.
