2011-12 Wrestling Season has begun. Come out and join a team that continues to rise to new levels of dominance each year.
Lake Highland's wrestling team has risen to true prominence in the state, region and nation! The team set many new records during the 2010-11 season, culminating with a third place finish at the State Championships.
The hard work of our dedicated wrestlers, the great coaching provided by Mike Palazzo and his assistant coaches, and the support of the parents combine to create an inspiring and effective atmosphere for the team. LHP wrestlers train year-round participating in before-school weight lifting and workouts and after-school practices. Last season, our wrestlers achieved a combined 579 wins, 136 losses and 320 pins with one of the toughest schedules in the state.
