The baseball family had two huge accomplishments over the past week.  Perfect Game Showcase had their 2014 national ranking showcase last week in Ft. Myers.  Kids from all over the country participated in the event.  Tyler Young and Jonah Girand were our two sophomore players that participated and performed very well.  The showcase was a two day event with an invitation only for the third day.  BOTH our boys were invited to participate in the third day!! An enormous accomplishment for both the boys.

Catcher Jonah Girand had a fantastic showing at the event.  He recorded the quickest throw in the ENTIRE event with a best throw of 1.80.  He also recorded the third fastest time at 79 MPH!! Staggering numbers.  At the end of the event Jonah received a National ranking of 6 for the 2014 class!!

 Congratulations to Jonah, Tyler and their families.  The baseball family is very proud of the boys and their accomplishments.       

A few of our JV and Middle Schools boys have accomplished some very difficult tasks the last couple of weeks.

Orlando Scorpions
Andrew Stine (9th), Will Saxton(8th), Gabe Scavone (8th) and Mike Giordano (8th) all made the U13-U14 Orlando Scorpions travel team. The Orlando Scorpions is one of the Premier Travel Baseball Organization in the state and widely recognized around the country. Congrats to the boys and their families.

Winter Park Blaze
Nick Noel (7th), Joey Cosgrove (7th), Jeffesron Deery (7th) and Walker Bancroft (6th) are members of a U12 team that is currently ranked 2nd in the South Florida Region and 6th in the COUNTRY!! Incredible accomplishment for the boys. Congrats to the boys and their families.


2nd Annual Golf Tournament
January 16th at 12:30 will be our 2nd Annual Golf Tournament at the Shingle Creek Golf Course. Please get in contact with Mrs. Giordano for sing-up questions, donations and other questions you may have. We look forward to seeing you all there!!
