The 6th Grade String Orchestra received a Superior Rating and was named the Grand Champion of Elementary Instrumental Division of Music USA Festival. Our Middle School String Orchestra was honored with a Superior Rating at the Myrtle Beach Fiesta-val!
Forty four students in 4th, 5th & 6th grade performed at the Music USA Festival at Universal Studios on Friday, April 19th.The children were adjudicated by three renowned music directors and competed against other elementary school choirs.
The LS Chorus received Superiors from all judges, won First Place in their category, and received the Grand Champion Award in the elementary division. Sixth Grade soloist Caroline Bates received a Superior rating and a Sixth Grade duet with Kalini Patel and Chaney Thornton also received a Superior rating.
