Readings and Questions 25 Points Due May 12th

 

Meeting Attendance  & Contracts 60 Points

March 20 points attendance, 20 points for contracts, forms, , copy of passport

    May 20 Points attendance, bring journal, passport holder

 

Assigned Report 100 points

Turn in a copy of the report to me on May 12th.  Take a copy with you.  Verbal report and photos will be presented the evening prior to the subject we will be seeing.

60 Points Written Report – minimum 1 page double spaced

15 Points Photos and maps

25 Points Verbal Report (no reading) 5 minutes

 

Journal 100 points

Daily entry 50 points Include places visited, historical figures, etc.

Foreign words 25 points

Daily financial report 25 points -This should be a running list

 

Final Project 100 points

The final project will include photos of important historical sights with captions.  It should be in a format you would like to keep.  This includes posters, photo or memory books. Final report is due 1 week from return date.  Drop off at the US office.

                        Hotels-what to expect- stairs, elevator AC, rooming

                                    assignments

Luggage/packing- 1 checked piece, 1 carry-on, small backpack

                        *Carry-on should include overnight items, toiletries, change

                                    of clothes

                                    Layout everything you think you need including money

Pack half of what you put out and take twice as much money

Clothing essentials: Dress for entering chapels, museums

Comfortable walking shoes.  NO FLIP FLOPS!!

Boys: 1 collared shirt

Girls: 1 nice skirt (or dress) that covers the knees, tops that cover the shoulders

Other essentials: small umbrella or rain poncho, additional hand towel & wash cloth, hat, sunscreen, soap

Medications: carry them in original containers with copies of the prescription in case of loss

Ferry ride to Greece: Overnight bag                                                     *Money-lunch and beverage money is needed about $30-      35/day

                        *Additional monies for shopping-travelers checks, credit cards,

                        ATM machines are available,

At the start of the trip bring at least 150 Euros

Park Ave. or order from you own bank.
