SV Meeting, Open to all Upper School Students from LHPS, 1^st Wednesday of every Month from 5:30-6:45 pm

October 1^st – SV Meeting: 50 Foot Banana Split! Come help build and eat a 50 foot banana split. Free Pizza and drinks! Behind the Rex building from 5:30-6:45 pm.

November 1^st – 2^nd: Fall Retreat (See info below)

What Is Student Venture?

Student Venture is the high school and junior high ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ International. Since 1966, we have been reaching out to teenagers with more than 1300 full-time staff, Student Venture affiliates, and local community volunteers. Student Venture is a contributing member of the Campus Alliance and National Network of Youth Ministries©. Through the Campus Alliance, Student Venture and 60 other national organizations are working hand in hand to help develop campus movements so that every student at every campus has the opportunity to grow in character and know Christ.

Our Purpose

The mission of Student Venture is to give every teenager the opportunity to hear the truth and love of Jesus Christ, to grow in their faith relationship with Him, and to reach others with the message of Christ. We call it Win – Build – Send.

FALL RETREAT– November 1-2, 2008 Break away for 2 days and have some fun with your friends and make some new ones as well...Paintball, Mud Pit, Ropes Course, Zip Line, Climbing Wall, Skate Park, Bonfire, S'mores and More!!!

FASTBREAK- January 16-19, 2009 - Join tons of other teenagers for this "FASTBREAK" one-of-a-kind, out-of-the-ordinary conference. Seize all the powerful motivation, wild fun, and training you can use to make a difference in your world. Invite your friends and come prepared to have wild fun!

THE GETAWAY – Myrtle Beach: June 7-12, 2009 – Myrtle Beach, SC Summer retreat, one-of-a-kind, out-of-the-ordinary conference. Seize what only the Getaway offers-- powerful motivation, wild fun, and training you can use to make a difference in your world.
