SS5028 Manatee Snorkel with LHPS Marine Biology Class

This is a trip for two students to travel with the LHPS high school Marine Biology class. The class travels by bus to Crystal River, FL on

the west coast, then by boat to crystal clear springs, Kings Bay, and snorkels with manatees and other brackish organisms. This is a one

day trip and is usually a Wednesday after Thanksgiving but before Christmas (date TBD). The bus departs LHPS at 5:00 am and

returns by 2:30 pm. The trip includes bus transportation; breakfast, lunch, and snacks; snorkel equipment; boat ride and manatee

encounter; assistance from the senior class; and photos of the experience.
