2. The 'ALL Learning Lab'- is it just for Edison students?

The CNL- Academic Learning Lab is a new LHPS facility which will house academic learning support and resources for all of our students PK-12. Many of our current support programs such as tutoring and specific learning programs will move into the new centrally located building behind the Calkins Library. In addition, the ALL can accommodate any newly discovered student learning needs and programs designed to enhance individual learning strategies. Consultation meetings, study groups, supplementary learning programs, student learning support and research are a sampling of the services a dynamic program like this can offer. All LHPS students, classroom teachers, counselors, tutors, Edison Program teachers, and parents will have access to the facility and programs. This new facility, the CNL~Academic Learning Lab, will strengthen and support the LHPS mission to prepare our students for college and lifelong learning. Detailed information will be sent to all LHPS parents this summer. If you have immediate questions, contact Mrs. Jayne Beucher, ext. 3231 or Mrs. Kathy Taylor ext. 3336. The CNL~Academic Learning Lab is the result of a concerted effort on the part of parents and faculty to provide optimal learning for our students.
