• LHPS Volleyball player earns national recognition from American Volleyball Coaches Association.
   
• LHPS senior won top honors at the national Lincoln-Douglas Debate Tournament!
  
  
• LHPS named best debate program at prestigious Minneapple Debate Invitational.
   
• LHPS 7th grader is the 2010 National Winner of the Young Naturalist Award!
  
  
• A sweep in science: Upper School students won first place in 13 of 14 categories at the 2010 Ying/Orange County Science Expo, including both Grand Prizes. Many students will proceed to the State Science Fair and the International Science Expo & Fair in   San Jose, California in May.
    
• SAT/ACT perfect scores: 20 students achieved 29 perfect scores on one of the SAT/ACT testing  sections in 2009.
  
  
• 24 Upper School students advanced to compete at this year’s State Speech and Debate Championships.  They are among the top 36 competitors in their respective events in Florida.
  
  
• The Middle School Mathcounts Team placed second overall in Central Florida! Our team of eight students competed against 400 of the region’s strongest math students. Their second place finish advances them to the state championship tournament for the third year in a row.
  
  
• The Middle School Robotics team placed first in Robot Performance and first place overall out of 21 teams.
  
  
• Girls’ Volleyball won State Championship 5 years in a row from 2004-2008.
  
  
• Swimming and Diving: boys won District and girls won Regional.  Both teams finished 5th at the State meet.
  
  
• Wrestling: 2 Regional Champions, four competed at State, one finished second and one fourth at State.
  
  
• Football:  Completed the 2009 season 10-2 overall. Ranked #5 in Class 2B and advanced to the second round of the State playoffs.
  
  
• Our students are consistently selected for All-State Chorus and All-State Band.
  
  
• Our Academy Singers have been invited to perform at the White House six times since 2003.
