The mission of the Lake Highland Booster Club is to provide financial and volunteer assistance to the Athletic Department for the benefit of the entire student body of
Lake Highland Preparatory School .

Dear LHPS Parents,

Lake Highland Preparatory School's athletic program is not only the finest in all of Central Florida (winner of the 2002 Orlando Sentinel Varsity Cup), but is also the premiere Class 2A athletic program in the state of Florida (winner of the Floyd E. Lay All Sports Trophy). This high degree of athletic excellence, when combined with Lake Highland 's outstanding academic tradition, has provided opportunities for Highlander student athletes to continue their academic and athletic careers at schools such as Harvard, University of Florida, Miami, Yale, Duke, Notre Dame, Georgetown, and Vanderbilt.

This degree of success has been a goal of the Board of Trustees, the school's administration, coaches, parents, and athletes for many years. Lake Highland 's Booster Club has been an important partner in the creation of the current environment of excellence and its members have been generous with their gifts of time and resources. In order to continue to improve and expand the opportunities available to our student athletes, more parents and friends will need to become involved with the Lake Highland Booster Club.

The simplest way is to merely join, but the most enjoyable path is to volunteer your time and talents. Every parent of very Highlander, including Lower School parents, has a gift to share with today's and tomorrow's student athletes. Whether you choose to help with concessions, assist with a track meet, provide refreshments, or help with publications and promotions, you will cross paths with many wonderful people and develop numerous warm memories.
