Lake Highland Preparatory School's Community Service Organization PK-12

All students in grades PK-12 are encouraged to participate in community service, whether it involves special projects such as the Boys & Girls Club Christmas drive, or on going activities such as tutoring at the Callahan Center or working with special need students through Best Buddies.
Community service provides students with an opportunity to make a lasting impact on the world around them. In the words of Jackie Robinson, "a life isn’t significant except for its impact on other lives." Through service, students also have the opportunity to develop & cultivate their leadership skills and potential.
As evidence of Lake Highland student’s commitment to service, in the 2007-2008 school year, students committed over 35,000 hours of service.
