About the director...

Mr. Christopher Greening was born and raised in Wisconsin (yes a true cheesehead). His passion for music started at an early age when he began piano lessons in first grade. From there, he learned to play the baritone, tuba and trombone. He earned his degree in Instrumental Music Education from Millikin University located in Decatur, IL. Mr. Greening moved to Orlando in 1993 and began his teaching career with the Orange County Public Schools as an interim elementary music teacher. He taught at the middle school level for nine years prior to coming to Lake Highland. Mr. Greening is a trombonist and pianist. In addition to teaching, he leads worship at First United Methodist Church in downtown Orlando.
